The Chairman of Biomedical Engineering at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyad, Saudi Arabia, will serve as the Department Chairman and direct scientific investigation activities. The Chairman will:

  • Give guidance on the overall research policies of KFSH&RC
  • Maintain continuing review of the professional performances of al members of his department
  • Promote and coordinate departmental, clinical and basic research activities
  • Assign priorities and allocate departmental resources
  • Determine equipment needs and ensure that proper equipment is obtained.

 

Requirements

  • American Boards or Canadian FRCPC
  • A minimum of five years post-specialty certification experience in Biomedical Engineering in North America, and
  • A minimum of three years of experience as Head of Biomedical Physics department
